Scholarship Application

Obosi Development Association-USA (ODA-USA) is offering academic scholarship for all Obosi indigenes to higher institutions such as:

  1. John Bosco Institute of Technology, Obosi.
  2. Innoson Kiara Academy, Nnewi.
  3. Metallurgical training institute, Obosi.
  4. School of Health Technology, Obosi.
  5. Lasbery college of Health Technology, Ogidi.
  6. Schools of Nursing.
  7. Universities.

All interested individuals, who have been offered an admission into any of these institutions, can apply for the ODA-USA scholarship to be considered for sponsorship.

For application, simply send the following two documents as pdf files to the WhatsApp forum “ODA-USA 2026 Scholarship” or you can drop them to Nze Amala Amaechi (0803 396 3298) in Umuota village, opposite Umuota Primary School.

  1. Your admission letter: can also be sent as a photo.
  2. An essay on ‘why you think you should be given the scholarship’. The essay should detail your financial need, including the financial situation of your family. This essay should convince the selection committee that without this scholarship, you would not be able to attend the institution. Your essay should not be more than one page, with the following criteria:
    • Page margins: 0.5 inches all round.
    • Font size: Times New Roman 12 points.
    • Line Spacing: 1.5-point spacing.
